Pan-African advocate Ras Aswad Nkrabea has called on African nations to increase diplomatic pressure on South Africa, arguing that the country’s positions on key continental issues have significant implications for African unity.
Speaking during an interview on iKulcha TV and Radio Kulcha with Kwesi E Baako, Ras Aswad Nkrabea said Africa must work collectively to ensure that South Africa’s policies and actions align with the broader vision of continental solidarity and cooperation.
According to him, South Africa’s influence as one of Africa’s largest economies and most prominent political actors means its decisions often shape regional and continental affairs. He stressed that African leaders should engage South Africa constructively while holding it accountable where necessary in the interest of strengthening unity among African states.
Ras Aswad Nkrabea emphasized that achieving the goals of African integration requires mutual respect, shared responsibility, and a commitment by all member states to prioritize the collective interests of the continent over national or external political considerations.
