Businessman and politician Akwasi Addai Odike has pledged that his government would reject the winner-takes-all approach to governance if given the opportunity to lead Ghana.

Speaking on iKulcha TV and Radio Kulcha with Kwesi E Baako, Odike said his administration would promote an inclusive system of governance in which people from different political backgrounds could contribute to national development.

He argued that Ghana’s progress should not be tied to the political party that wins an election, stressing the need for cooperation and competence in running the affairs of the country.

According to Odike, a government must prioritise the interests of Ghanaians rather than reward only members and supporters of the governing party.

He said his administration would therefore seek to bring qualified and capable people together, regardless of their political affiliations, to help address the country’s development challenges.
