My Father Didn’t Support Killing Home Chickens & Eating Them, I Have Always Wanted to Be Vegetarian – Okyeame Kwame

Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame has opened up about his decision to stop eating meat, revealing that his desire to become vegetarian dates back to his childhood.

Speaking on Ikulcha TV and Radio Kulcha, the musician said his father played an important role in shaping his views about eating animals. According to Okyeame Kwame, his father did not support the killing of chickens kept at home for food.

“I have always wanted to be vegetarian. My father didn’t support killing home chickens and eating them,” he said.

The musician explained that he eventually stopped eating meat and said he has noticed positive changes in his health since adopting the lifestyle.

“Since stopping eating meats, I have been healthier,” Okyeame Kwame revealed.

His comments highlight the personal and family experiences that influenced his dietary choices. The artiste has also been known for using his public platform to discuss lifestyle, environmental and social issues, encouraging conversations around healthier and more sustainable choices.
