Isaac Enimil, the headmaster of Asanco Model Basic School in the Amenfi West Municipality of Ghana, has refused to accept his transfer or hand over the office to his replacement, Albert Yawson.
Mr. Enimil (popularly known as “Lion”) was transferred from the school, and his replacement, Mr. Yawson (known as “Abass”), reported to take over.
Mr. Enimil refused to leave or hand over duties, insisting he was still the headmaster and dealing with admissions directly.
When district education officers arrived to resolve the dispute, tensions flared in front of parents and staff, leading to a physical confrontation where admission sample questions were torn.
The police were called to the school to de-escalate the chaotic situation and restore calm.
