Kwesi E. Baako has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take greater control of the public narrative surrounding its government before it is too late.
Speaking on his show on iKulcha TV and Radio Kulcha, Mr Baako cautioned the governing party against allowing its opponents to dominate the narrative on issues of national importance.
He stressed the need for the NDC to communicate more effectively with the public, particularly on government policies, programmes and decisions.
According to him, failure to adequately explain and defend the government’s record could create room for misinformation and negative perceptions to take root.
Mr Baako therefore encouraged the party and government communicators to be proactive, consistent and strategic in their engagement with the public.
He said controlling the narrative was essential to ensuring that the government’s message reached citizens clearly and accurately, warning the NDC to act before it became too late.
