Lawyer Haalem Moro has stressed that freedom of speech comes with responsibilities and does not extend to threats against individuals, including the President.
Speaking on Ikulcha TV and Radio Kulcha with Kwesi E Baako, Lawyer Moro said power ultimately emanates from the masses, but individuals must recognise the limits of their right to free expression.
“Power emanates from the masses, but your freedom of speech ends at your nose. A TikToker threatening the President is not freedom of speech,” he said.
He explained that while citizens have the right to express their opinions and criticisms, such rights should be exercised within the boundaries of the law and with respect for the rights and safety of others.
