Kwesi E Baako has criticised Nana Jantuah of Ahenfie FM/TV, insisting that corruption should not be tolerated or portrayed as acceptable conduct in public life.
Speaking on his “Friendly Fire” segment on iKulcha TV and Radio Kulcha, Baako argued that corruption is not a sign of wisdom and that prosecuting public officials accused of corruption is a normal practice in democratic societies.
Baako’s comments were in response to views expressed by Nana Jantuah, as he maintained that accountability through legal processes is essential to maintaining integrity in governance.
He stressed the need for institutions to investigate and prosecute individuals where there is evidence of wrongdoing, adding that the fight against corruption requires strong enforcement of the law.
The remarks have added to ongoing public discussions in Ghana about corruption, accountability, and the role of state institutions in ensuring transparency in public service.
