Economic analyst Dr. Newlove Asamoah has praised the 2026 Budget presented by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, describing it as a blueprint that offers renewed hope for national economic growth.
Speaking on Ikulcha Radio/TV with host Kwesi E. Baako, Dr. Asamoah stated that the budget demonstrates a clear commitment to stabilizing the economy while setting the stage for sustainable, long-term expansion. According to him, the policies outlined reflect a strategic balance between fiscal discipline and targeted investments.
Dr. Asamoah highlighted key areas of the budget. including support for small and medium enterprises, improved revenue management, and increased allocations to productive sectors, as indicators that the government is prioritizing real economic transformation. He added that the budget’s focus on infrastructure, digitalization, and job creation shows a forward-looking approach to national development.
He further urged stakeholders, including the private sector and civil society groups, to collaborate with government to ensure the successful execution of the budget’s programs.
