Speaking on Ikulcha TV/Radio with host Kwesi E. Baako, Razak Abubakar, a key member of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, expressed strong confidence in victory in the ongoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race.
Razak Abubakar boldly stated, “We are going to win, and it’s incumbent on us to sanitize the party.” His remarks reflected the Bawumia camp’s determination not only to secure the flagbearership but also to promote unity, discipline, and renewal within the NPP.
He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s vision goes beyond winning the internal contest; it focuses on strengthening the party’s structures, healing divisions, and restoring integrity among members.
According to him, internal bickering and misinformation have tainted the party’s image, and it is the responsibility of true patriots to correct that.
Abubakar noted that they want to ensure the NPP remains strong, united, and ready to deliver for Ghanaians. That’s why sanitizing the party is not an option; it’s a duty
