NDC Took Advantage of Our Failure to Engage the Youth – NPP Organizer

The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Kwakwa, says the party has learnt important lessons from the 2024 general election and is ready to reconnect with all sections of the Ghanaian electorate, particularly the youth.

Speaking on iKuclha TV and Radio Kulcha, Kwakwa said the NPP’s failure to adequately engage some sections of the population created an opportunity for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win over young voters.

“People were not ready to listen to us, and the NDC took advantage of that and embraced the youth, which won the 2024 election,” he said.

According to him, the NPP has reflected on the factors that contributed to its defeat and is prepared to change its approach.

“We’ve learnt our lessons and are ready to engage all,” Kwakwa added, stressing the need for the party to listen more closely to the concerns and aspirations of Ghanaians.
