The Vice Presidential candidate for the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, popularly known as Roman Fada, has expressed his readiness to take the reins as the new flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), following the passing of Madam Akua Donkor.

Speaking on Angel FM, Roman Fada indicated that he is ready to assume the role of Flagbearer should the law require it following the unfortunate passing of Akua Donkor yesterday, who was the Presidential candidate for the party.

“Since I am an entertainment person, I hope I will get support from my colleagues in the entertainment field”, he said.
Roman Fada also confirmed the death of Akua Donkor. According to him, the latter fell sick on Saturday, October 26,2024 and was sent to the Nsawam Government Hospital where she was treated and discharged.
However, on Sunday, October 27, she was rushed to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital formerly known as the Ridge Hospital where she kicked the bucket at 10 pm on Monday, October 28.
He also disclosed that the Ghana Freedom Party will release a statement announcing her death and the way forward for the party.
Madam Akua Donkor founded the GFP in 2011 and got it registered in 2012.
