The Ashanti Region’s Kwame Ohene Frimpong, the Member of Parliament for Asante-Akyem North, went live on Facebook to correct rumors and provide clarification on his job overseas.
“I am abroad representing my constituents and attracting investors to our area,”
“Through my efforts, over 89 individuals have received scholarships. The NDC government facilitated 60 of these projects, and I managed the rest myself.”
Clarifying his political alignment, the MP stated, “My decision to work with the NDC does not mean I betrayed the NPP.
“I served in the NPP before running as an independent candidate and winning my seat. I am satisfied with how the NDC is managing things so far.”
Additionally, Kwame Ohene Frimpong refuted reports that he had been detained overseas for possessing cocaine. “The support of the kids and people I have assisted as an MP has kept me very much alive.” They step in on my behalf spiritually,” he clarified.
“I am making positive changes, and those who are trying to bring me down will not succeed,” he continued, taking delight in his achievements.
“I implore party members to embrace change and put aside partisan politics. I’m headed for success.
