Kwesi E Baako has stated that National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia has all the qualities needed to become the party’s flagbearer but believes he should not contest for the position.
Speaking during an editorial on iKulcha TV and Radio Kulcha, Kwesi E Baako acknowledged Asiedu Nketia’s leadership qualities and his potential to lead the NDC as a presidential candidate.
However, he argued that the party chairman should maintain his current position and focus on holding the party together rather than seeking the flagbearer position.
According to Kwesi E Baako, Asiedu Nketia’s continued leadership as national chairman could be important in maintaining unity and strengthening cohesion within the NDC.
He emphasised the importance of party unity and urged the NDC chairman to remain focused on his current responsibilities to help keep the party together.
