According to Dr. Kwarko several children are now abandoned in orphanages because of planned pregnancies. He fear the lack of parental care for such children will leave them worse off.
Dr Kwarko reiterated his call whiles donating some food items, clothes and footwear to needy children at Behenase community and the Perfect Peace Foundation here in the Ashanti region.
He however adds that adults, who cannot keep chaste, should embrace safe contraception to prevent the embarrassing situation of having children without the means to cater for them.
