
Daddy Bosco has expressed elation about cannabis having reached Ghana’s Parliament, highlighting the country’s growing focus on the medicinal and economic benefits of the plant.
“Who would have thought that Ghana Parliament would be discussing weed?” he asked, noting that the country is now exploring the opportunities that regulated cannabis can provide for healthcare and the economy.
Daddy Bosco emphasized that with proper regulation, cultivation, and research, cannabis has the potential to contribute significantly to Ghana’s pharmaceutical, agricultural, and industrial sectors. He also stressed the importance of public education to ensure responsible use and to maximize economic gains.
The address comes as Ghana gradually moves toward formalizing policies around cannabis, seeking to balance health, economic, and social considerations while tapping into global trends in medicinal cannabis production.
