Bernard Mornah, has launched a fierce attack on the legal team of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, accusing them of deliberately misleading the public.
Speaking on Ikulcha Radio/TV in an interview withKwesi E. Baako, Mornah described claims made by Ofori-Atta’s lawyers regarding ongoing investigations and accountability processes as “blatant lies.”
According to him, the legal maneuvering and public statements from the former minister’s lawyers are calculated attempts to shield their client from facing justice, rather than a genuine effort to clarify the issues at stake.
Mornah insisted that no amount of legal spin can erase what he described as the economic hardship and debt burden imposed on Ghanaians during Ofori-Atta’s tenure.
He further stressed that Ghanaians deserve honesty and accountability, especially from individuals who held such powerful positions in government. Mornah called on state institutions to remain firm and independent, urging them not to be intimidated by legal tactics or public relations campaigns.
