I’m Not Doing the Bidding of Any Political Party, We Only Want Judicial Independence in Ghana — Seth Adu Adjei

Founder of Eagle Eye International, Seth Adu Adjei, has firmly stated that his advocacy work is not influenced by any political party. Speaking during an interview on Ikulcah with Kwesi E. Baako, he emphasized that his interest lies solely in strengthening Ghana’s democratic institutions, especially the judiciary.

According to Adu Adjei, ensuring true judicial independence is essential for national development and public confidence in the legal system. He noted that when citizens believe the courts operate without political interference, it enhances trust, promotes accountability, and reinforces the rule of law.

He clarified that Eagle Eye International’s mission is driven by a commitment to good governance, transparency, and justice, not partisan alignment. “Our focus is Ghana,” he stressed, adding that constructive criticism and civic advocacy should never be mistaken for political allegiance.

Adu Adjei’s remarks come at a time when many Ghanaians continue to debate the level of autonomy the judiciary currently holds. His call adds to a growing chorus urging reforms that safeguard the courts from both direct and indirect political pressures.
