Boabeng Asamoah, the General Secretary of the United Party (UP), has praised the party’s flagbearer, Alan John Kyerematen, describing him as the transformational leader Ghana urgently needs. Speaking on Ikulcha TV with host Kwesi E. Baako, the UP General Secretary declared that “Ghana deserves a brand of Alan Kyeremateng’s leadership,” emphasizing that his vision and track record make him the right man to steer the nation forward.
According to him, Alan Kyerematen embodies a unique style of leadership built on integrity, discipline, and innovation, qualities he believes are missing in Ghana’s current political environment. “Alan represents a calm, competent, and visionary approach to governance. He is not driven by partisanship but by a genuine desire to see Ghana develop,” he stated.
He noted that the United Party, under Kyerematen’s leadership, seeks to unite Ghanaians across political divides and focus on practical solutions to unemployment, industrialization, and youth empowerment. “What we need now is leadership that inspires confidence and delivers results. Alan’s record at the Ministry of Trade and Industry speaks for itself,” he added.
The General Secretary urged Ghanaians to support Alan Kyerematen and the UP in their mission to build a prosperous, self-reliant nation rooted in unity and accountability.
Alan Kyerematen, now leading the United Party (UP), has positioned himself as a credible alternative to the traditional political establishment, championing what he calls a “Great transformational plan” to restore Ghana’s economic and moral foundation.
