Blame the Party, Not Bawumia, Bawumia Is The Most Prepared Candidate To Lead NPP – Razak Abubakar

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Razak Abubakar, has stated that if Ghanaians were dissatisfied with the performance of the erstwhile NPP government, the blame should not be placed on individuals such as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but rather on the party as a collective body.

Speaking in an interview on Ikulcha Radio and TV with Kwesi E. Baako, Razak Abubakar emphasized that governance is a team effort, and no single person should be made the scapegoat for the party’s challenges while in power.

“If Ghanaians were not happy about the erstwhile NPP government, you can’t blame some individuals like Bawumia, you must blame the party as a whole,” he said.

Razak Abubakar further described Dr. Bawumia as the most prepared and visionary candidate to lead the NPP into the 2028 elections, citing his experience, discipline, and commitment to digital transformation and economic reforms.

He urged party members to rally behind Dr. Bawumia and focus on rebuilding trust with the Ghanaian people, stressing that unity and a clear sense of direction are essential for the NPP’s return to power.
