Okyeame Kwame Arrives In NYC To Kickoff Brands Tour
Newly-signed ambassador for Waylead Properties and renowned recording and performing artist, Okyeame Kwame, is on an international tour with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Mr Keegan Wang. The ‘Rap Doctor’ was sighted in Downtown Manhattan and around a few other spots this afternoon. A member of his touring team intimated to Ghnewsnow that to mark the commencement of his tour, he visited the Ghana Embassy in New York to meet with the Consular-General.
“Charity begins at home,y’know, so as cultured people when we arrived, it was only natural to announce our arrival and mission”, she said.
The aim of the tour is to encourage Ghanaians in the diaspora to invest in Ghana by owning their own homes in Ghana.

Mr. Kingsley Atta Boafo, Consul General at the Consulate welcomed Okyeame Kwame and his team to New York. He also congratulated Him for all his developmental activationshe is involved in, which according to him are helping Ghana and Ghanaian youth. Mr. Frederick Kofi Ameyaw who is Head of information Permanent Mission of Ghana to the United Nations also praised the ambassador and urged Ghanaians in the diaspora to invest Ghana.
The tour proper will start with Okyeame visiting Chicago on the 28th of July to speak on the topic: ‘Investing in Ghana’ at the Waylead stand at Ghanafest. He will later visit New York to meet with members of the Asante Kotoko Association of North America on 31st July. The next stop will be Washington DC where Okyeame Kwame’s mission is to firm up sister-city relations between Accra and Baltimore.
In New York , Okyeame Kwame will be hosting a Brunch and Schmooze on 6th August at Amarachi, Brooklyn. The final stop is on the 7th August in New Jersey for a barbecue and book signing experience for his book, Love Locked Down.
