Kotoko Congratulates Goalkeeper Felix Annan For Making AFCON Final Squad

The Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have congratulated their goalkeeper Felix Annan for getting the call for the African Cup Of Nations 2019 squad. Management also gave kudos to forward Fatau Safui for making the initial call up.

With the rejection of Fatau, Felix Annan becomes the only home-based player in the 23-man squad set to represent Ghana at the continental tourney.

Felix Annan was named among three selected  goalkeepers.

It seems obvious that the club is elated by the inclusion of the 25-year-old former U20 national team goalkeeper.

The official twitter account sent out this tweet: “CONGRATULATIONS to @van_felix12 for making the Black Stars final AFCON 2019 squad and also to @fatawusafui for making the initial provisional list. The #AKSC family is proud of you both,” 

The Black Stars are due to leave their tenting  base in Dubai to Egypt on Thursday June 20, a day before the tournament kicks off.
