A US-based Ghanian, Dr. Lawrence Appiah is insisting that there is a co-relation between a gift of a horn and a white handkerchief given to President Akufo Addo by his “Spiritual Father” Rev. Owusu Bempah and the recent spate of accidents in the country. According to Dr. Appiah, the demise of 20 children at the Kintampo waterfalls as well as the recent road accident in the same area which claimed the lives of 57 people are as a result of some unnatural pledge between the President, via Rev. Owusu Bempah and some dark forces.

After getting hold of a piece titled “Dr. Lawrence Writes” which was making the rounds on social media, Ghnewsnow called Dr. Lawrence for clarification but he insisted there was a link.

I think  the horn that Rev. Owusu Bempah gave to Nana Akufo Addo on that fateful day that 20 children died in Kintampo is the cause of all the problems we are having in Ghana

“I think  the horn that Rev. Owusu Bempah gave to Nana Akufo Addo on that fateful day that 20 children died in Kintampo is the cause of all the problems we are having in Ghana”, he said.

He particularly took issues with a certain white handkerchief that he purports the President ties around his wrist.  He said it is awkward for a fine gentleman like President Akufo Addo to dress up in a suit and water it down by tying a handkerchief round his wrist.

He further stated that during the tenure of former President John Atta-Mills, there was talk of him wearing a ring which supposedly aroused suspicion  and that those same people who were talking about the ring should also be talking about the horn. According to him, “The same people who were making fun of President Atta Mills because he had darkened hands and because he had a ring…” should also be talking about Akufo Addo’s horn and handkerchief today.
