MTN launches 4G service

Telecommunication giant MTN Ghana Tuesday June 21 launched its 4G LTE service in the country.

In a message, the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Ebenezer Twum Asante, said the launch was part of activities marking the 20 years of operation of MTN in Ghana.

According to Mr Twum, the MTN 4G service will bring speed and reliability on the go. “So you can enjoy higher speed, faster uploads and downloads, clearer video calling, and easy streaming. You can do all these directly on your mobile handset or by using devices like modems, routers or MiFi and all these are available at MTN service centres,” he added.1.9389229

With a 4G-enabled device and an MTN 4G SIM card, any subscriber can enjoy MTN 4G service in every regional capital and in many towns across the country.
