MTN Gives To Lassia-Tuolu SHS

As part of mobile telecom giants MTN  21days of Y’ello care grogram,  on Monday presented a 40 inch LED TV set and a DSTV combo valued at about five thousand cedis to the staff and students of the Lassia-Tuolu Senior High School in the Wa West district.

The presentation which is aimed at enhancing learning among the students was done by a team from the Upper West Regional Office of MTN.
Speaking during the presentation of the items, Obed Adu-Amankwaah Regional Rep of MTN said the school was selected as part of their desire to support the students acquire knowledge as the DSTV component contains modern educational programs.IMG-20160620-WA0007

According to Mr. Adu-Amankwaah, disclosed that the 21 days of Y’ello Care is an annual affair during time, staff of MTN engage in volunteerism. This he says happens in June each year.
According to him each year has a specific thematic area and that this year, MTN is focusing on education the reason for the donation to the school.

He encouraged the staff  to patronize the services of MTN as they are tailored to make the lives of their clients better.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Mr. Emmanuel Banongwie the assistant headmaster of the school thanked MTN for the gesture.
He however appealed to them to improve on the network in the area as they find it difficult to make or receive calls there.
