Brochure Gaffe Avoidable – Mahama

President John Mahama has said the brochure gaffe was avoidable.

According to him, the Chief of Staff is making efforts to ensure the incident of having a mistake-riddled brochure for celebrating Ghana’s Independence Day anniversary does not happen again.

The Acting Director of the Information Services Department, Francis Arthur, was fired for the gaffe.

He took full responsibility for the mistakes, one of which included referring to President Uhuru Kenyatta as the president of Ghana.

The Coat of Arms was also printed as ‘Coat of Arm’, among a raft of other grievous mistakes.

Mr Mahama told Bridget Otoo in an interview on TV3 Monday March 14 that Ghanaians must not allow the brochure gaffe to take the shine off a nice independence celebration.
