Otumfuo To Award Hundred Teachers Today

One hundred first cycle school teachers from the ten regions of Ghana will receive awards for their selfless work at a colourful grand durbar of Chiefs and people of Asanteman on Tuesday at the Manhyia Palace, Kumasi.

The awards ceremony by His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, through the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation will be honouring well deserving and selfless teachers from deprived communities.

According to a press release signed by the Chief of Staff of Asantehene’s office, Kofi Badu the award is aimed at promoting and enhancing quality education in Ghana through the Otumfuo Teachers’ Awards.

‘We invite everybody for this grand celebration of these martyrs of our homeland Ghana,’ he said.
