Stars Arrive In Comoros Ahead of WC Duel

The Black Stars have arrived in Moroni, Comoros for the 2018 World Cup qualifier with the Islanders on Friday November 13, 2015.

The Stars arrived on Thursday and are expected to train on the synthetic pitch at the Stade Said Mohammed Cheikh stadium in Mitsamiouli.

Despite challenges over winning bonuses, the Stars, ranked 30th by FIFA, are the favourite to win against their 177th-ranked counterparts.

All 23 players invited by head coach Avram Grant are in camp. The second leg of the fixture will be played at the Kumasi Sports stadium four days later.

Ghana are looking forward to their fourth straight World Cup appearance since their debut in 2006 in Germany.
