Ghana Drop In FIFA Ranking

Black Stars TrainingGhana has dropped two places in the latest FIFA monthly ranking released on Thursday, August 6.

Ghana dropped from 25th to 27th on the global rankings but remain Africa’s third best team after Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire.

2015 Copa America winners Chile move into the Top 10 with losing finalists Argentina still the world’s highest ranked side.

Belgium are second with world champions Germany dropping to 3rd place.

South Americans Colombia and Brazil join them in that order to make the Top 5.

In Africa, aside Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal are in the continent’s Top 5.
